Whenever I try to edit the registry i get the error,
registry editing has been disabled by your administrator.
I am the administrator, however this is my own account
of I which I have administrator right. This happened
because I added the DisableRegistryTools key and set it
to enable, to test the validity of an unlocker to work on
non administrative persons.
However since I now have no access to the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry I can't revert the
DisableRegistryTools back. I have tried running regedit
as administrator but then HKEY_CURRENT_USER refers to the
administrator profile, doesn't it? I have also tried
importing the registry using unlock.reg but I get the
same message. How the hell can I enable registry editing
again.
NB: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.......DisableRegTools is set to 0.
