Recently I set up a system running XP. When using a
third party software logged on as a power user I am
getting an error message "Error in Active X Object." I
have been working with the third party software vendor
and they have been unable to get the same error when
creating the same set up in their office. This vendor
assures me that they have hundreds of customers running
the software on XP and have not heard of this problem but
that the ActiveX was not able to run on my system as a
power user. If I change the permissions from Power User
to Administrator of the machine the problem goes away.
Unfortunately I cannont allow this type of access to our
users. Please HELP!
