Sending Console Messages from XP to MS 2000 Console

Hi,

I need some help with extra credit in class. I need to
find a way to send a console message from Windows XP on a
network that also utilizes MS 2000 outside another user
group. Both Applications are on the same server. I
understand that both utilize seperate TCP/IP Protocols.

Can you help?

As it's for a class I'll leave you to figure out the exact syntax yourself
but open a command line interface and type net send /? and look at the
output from that. Hmmm actually or google for a post i made within the past
month or so i think about net send.
