I do not know what your problem is but mine was that I was running from on
old 8X CD-ROM. I changed to an old 32X and the problem went away.

Thanks for all your help,

I found out what the problem was. It was the video card driver. Basically
what i did was just install a new vid card driver and then with the XP CD i
repaired the xp system. I did it by both check disk /p and /r. Also did
the system repair from XP CD.
