Advert pop ups

I am currently getting lots of pop up adverts and they
are driving me mad. How do I stop them? Many thanks.

get Ad-aware, it is free from www.cnet.com
and it will delete any programs that are not wanted on your pc, like these
ad's that are imbedded in program or have been installed with other software
you have installed, like Kazza, Imesh.

most of them not all, have the gator software installed and this is what is
popping up the ad's

Hi Connie,

Personally, I use the google toolbar:
http://toolbar.google.com/

But you can block them without third-party tools as well, just takes a bit
of work:
