Taskbar Height

Does anyone know how to adjust the height of the
taskbar? For one user, just the time is shown and for
another user, the time, dy of the week and date is
shown. How do I make them consistent? I just want to
show the time and have a narrow taskbar.

Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar and from the context menu
un-check "Lock the Taskbar". You should now be able to resize the taskbar
with the mouse to whatever size you want.
When finished, re-lock it by repeating the procedure above.

Go to download.com and download the program "Say The Time"
It is simple and allows you to set the time anyway you want.
It automatically keeps it correct and will actually tell you the time
from a sweet voice female. :-)
