View Full Version : XP HE settings reset after logoff

I had some trouble and I repaired/reinstalled windows from
a boot disk.

Now I have this problem: Whenever I log off, all my
settings are reset to the default. I had it set to look
like windows classic, and now now it looks like
teletubbies. I had it show the system files and file
extensions, and now it hides those. Some things remain,
but most(including the start menu and programs) are
constantly reset whenever I log off.

Any help?

I use Windows XP Home edition.
[pardon my double post]

I find it so funny that you call it Teletubbies as that is what my wife
calls it!

They say when you play the Windows XP CD backwards, you can hear
Satanic messages. But even scarier, if you play it forward it
installs Windows XP!
