Wes Dell told me 'learn xp' is part of xp and cannot be removed. Also
if I delete its files (taht I can find) it could blow xp.
I don't know what SBCI is but in context it may mean contact Dell.
Contact Dell works OK for me.

Larry;
Try this, have a look and see if 'learn xp' is in sysoc.inf. I doubt very
much that it is. I have XP Home and the only thing I have that IS a part of
Windows is Tour Windows XP. This can be accessed through Help and Support,
since I deleted the shortcut from Start/Programs/Accessories.
Add Remove optional features of Windows XP
To dramatically expand the list of applications you can remove from Windows XP
after installation, navigate to C:\WINDOWS\inf (substituting the correct drive
letter for your version of Windows) and open the sysoc.inf file. Under Windows
XP Professional Edition, this file will resemble the following by default:

[Version] Signature = "$Windows NT$"

The entries that include the text hide or HIDE will not show up in Add/Remove
Windows Components by default. To fix this, do a global search and replace for
,hide and change each instance of this to , (a comma). Then, save the file,
relaunch Add/Remove Windows Components, and tweak the installed applications to
your heart's content.

Hi,

This is part of the Dell install. Remove the program from Add or Remove.
It should also be listed under All Programs/Accessories.
