spellcheck

Hi all
Does anyone know how to access spellcheck on XP
professional ?
I assumed it would be on the same toolbar as it was on my
last pc but i can't find it.
I need to check a few thousand words assignment urgently..
can anyone point me to it ?

Do you have a spellchecker installed? No version of Windows includes one.

There is no spellcheck in Windows XP, nor in any version of
Windows. Spell checking is a function of an application program,
not an operating system. What program do you want to spell check
in?

Neither XP Pro or XP Home come with a spell checker. Unless you have
a program installed that includes a spell checker (MS Word, MS Office
for example) there will be none available.

The toolbar you are referring to, what application was it for?
