Not sure why you can't, you don't tell us what the symptoms are. What's the
exact problem? Error messages? Do you own/have Works on cd or did it come
pre-installed as a bonus program?(it is not, and never was, included with
wimdows)

Greetings
What software are you having problems with. No version of Windows includes
a program to make labels.

Because when you had W95 you also had WORKS installed.
You can buy WORKS from any retailer for $50-100 (depending
on version) and install it on Windows XP. Windows is an
operating system.

We bought a cheapie program called "My Labels" after moving to xp. We
used to use dBase 3 (which appears to work in xp). 'My Labels' will
import data from several popular database formats. It keeps its data
in a table similar to a spreadsheet and you can choose a lot of
different label formats for both sheet feed and pin feed printers.
Its a pain to learn at first but it does the job. It has its own field
names that you can associate with you existing database. Good Luck.
