system restore

I have been having problems with my computer restarting
randomly and with certain tasks. Every time I tried to
install my printer, it would only get so far and my
computer would restart. It didn't shut down properly. I
had the same issue with my mouse software. I resolved
this issue by disabling the system restore. Does anybody
have any explanation as to why this happened?

Have you heard of GoBack. It has saved my butt several times, when I
was infected by a virus.

I would say yes, I use and trust, it but I am not sure if it is really
better than System Restore; I've just always used it so I disabled
"System restore"
