Hi, I am trying to see if Folders can be added to
the "Save as" box. When I click the "Save As" option a
box pops up. On the left side of box it has some default
folders. I would like to add some folders to that list.
Thanks for any help woth this.

TweakUI for xp will let you pick different ones to display out of a list of
system folders.
Office 2003 products will allow you to put anything that you choose in the
my places bar.

Hi Mike,
Which Open/Save As you are mentioning about?
See:
How can I edit the default Places bar quick links in Windows XP's and
Windows 2000's Open and Save common dialog boxes?
http://www.ntfaq.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=24828
You can accomplish the same by downloading TweakUI from the following page:
TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP/XP MCE [564 KB].
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiP
owertoySetup.exe
TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB].
http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/c/a/fca6767b-9ed9-45a6-b352-839afb2
a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe
(This setting applies globally (which uses comdlg32 control) and not just a
specific application.

Hi All, I finally got it to work. It was confusing
because I could not find anything that said "My Places".
I went to one of the web sites suggested and it explained
how to add items to the My Places. It was hidden in the
tool menu bar.
Thanks for you help.

When using tweakui to do this you can only choose from the different options
listed in the places bar section in the custom drop down list. You can't add
any folders that aren't listed in the drop down list. It's a little limited.
