Is that the exact text of the error message? Because if it is, you've
probably been hacked. MS error messages may sometimes be obscure, but
they are written with correct English grammar. If you have XP Home,
enter Safe Mode (tapping F8 while the computer is starting will get you
to the correct menu) and log in as Administrator. The default password
is blank. Once in, you can go to Control Panel>User Accounts and change
the password for your regular account to something you will remember.
Or write it down. If you find your computer has in fact been
compromised, then the best thing to do is format the drive, clean
install Windows, reinstall programs from cd's, and restore data from
backups.
