I am having general system stability problems.

I noticed a file deskop.ini surfaced on my destop and
upon a C drive search, I found hundreds of these files.

I looked at other computers in my house and do not see
this file distributed in this way...

Any idea what I am dealing with here?

Thank you,
Richard

Hi Richard,

Desktop.ini is not your problem. It is a normal file that is usually hidden.
It's only purpose is to hold details about the settings of the folder in
which it is found (this includes the desktop).

What sort of instability problems are you having?

Hi Richard,

This is because you have Show Hidden Files and Folders enabled.
