I am the only user on my pc. Prior to April 17th
Critical update, I can power on the my machine and go
directly to my desktop without entering my ID and
password.

With the Critical Update of April 17th, I now received a
Welcome screen, click your ID or entry your ID and
Password to get to my desktop. How do I restore my logon
prior to the critical update. I don't want the power on
process to prompt me for an ID and password, everytime I
turn on the machine.

The welcome screen gives to two options: either click my
ID or type my ID and Password. I don't need this
security... I just want to get to my desktop directly
from power on, without this extra step...

Thanks..

Control panel>User Accounts> highlight your account and choose>change the
way users log on>then uncheck the welcome screen

>>Scanned With Norton Anti-Virus<<
