I am not able to read any floppy disk.
I get a meesage "Please insert a disk into drive A"

It was working well before?

I checked the desk management and it displays that the
device "Floppy disk drive" is working properly!!
Please help

Run a floppy drive cleaner, check that you have the correct geometry for the
drive selected in your bios settings, check that the ribbon cable connectors
attatching the drive to the motherboard are firmly attatched and connected
the right way around i.e. red or blue stripe to pin 1. If that fails - try
swapping / borrowing a floppy drive, and swap it out to see if that confirms
that your floppy drive is dead. If very old equipment - check that you're
not trying to use 1.44mb high density floppy disks in a floppy drive that
only handles up to 720mb floppy disks.
