I have tried to upgrade to xp pro. But have run into
trouble. I get a message that states; A problem has been
detedted and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly
installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check
your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and
terminated. Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive
corruption and then restart your computer.
***stop: 0x0000007b

Now I have also tried to format my hard drive and intall
xp on the clean drive and it says there is no hard drive
after restarting.

please can someone help me!
