I installed a driver for my Xbox gamepad so I can play Halo PC. It works
for awhile, then gives me problems. The driver seems to be bad, and is
causing all kinds of BSOD's that all point to the driver (using the gamepad
is the only time I have any problems). The driver has and
installer/uninstaller, but it won't uninstall it to the point that I can
plug the gamepad back in and have Windows see it as a new device, and ask me
to point out a driver (I've found a few other drivers I want to try). I try
to install new hardware, but it doesn't see it, tells me their is no info on
the device there, or I'm just doing it wrong. How can I get it off my
system so I can just have Windows see it when I plug it in? Or, any other
suggestions as to how to point it to another driver? It's frustrating
because it works for a little while, then I get the BSOD.
Thanks,
Craig
