Hi, I use one of the file sharing programs, WinMX, and I
have just turned on the internet firewall built into XP
home version. Unfortunately, now my browsing of
available downloads is very restricted. I can connect
with this file sharing system better if I provide WinMX
with my TCP port for incoming connection, and UDP for
incoming and outgoing packets. I don't know where to
find this information, and if I do provide it, does it
nowsubstantially compromise the effectiveness of the
firewall?
