Every time I connect to msn internet my color bit changes
to 8 bit which distorts the screen colors. It never
changes while working offline only when connected to the
internet. I have the settings on 1024X768 65 hrz and
either 16 or 32 bits true color and always click the apply
button and ok each time I set it.
Why does it change when I connect to msn?
Please help
thank you

It is a possibility that you need to update the drivers for your video card.

Thanks for your response. Do you mean I need to buy a new
vido card or can I download a new driver

Wendell,
Most of the Video card makers have websites that you can update
your drivers from.... Of course I don't have a clue what video card
you have but you can hold down your WINDOWS FLAG key and tap
PAUSE BREAK key once and when the window opens, click the HARDWARE
tab and then DEVICE MANAGER and take a look. It should tell you there
the brand of video card and other pertinent info about your card.
HTH,
