I sure hope that you renabled your anti-virus?
One cause in system pausing or freezing could be the
indexing service.
Control panel>admin tools>services, find indexing service
and right click on it then select properties, stop the
service and then disable it,

Yes of course AntiVirus is enabled again lol! I stopped the indexing service
& when i checked it & it said 'stopped' & I selected disable. It wont start
again & what else can I check?
