Windows XP Installer

I am having trouble with viruses. I have a list of
instructions from Symantec to fix the problem.

One of the items is to reinstall Windows Installer. I
cannot find the XP version on the download site and don't
know what else to do.

Has anyone every done this and can help me find the
correct download?
