i need to authenticate users running xp home and xp pro on an NT domain. can
i run a login script to do this instead of the normal xp login procedure
that users use to log on to their computers?

XP Pro can join a domain, which allows users to then=20
log in with their domain accounts (in the normal way).
XP Home cannot join a domain. These you would=20
need to upgrade. Extending domain authentication is=20
not a minor piece of coding, except if you can provide=20
a restricted portalling to a defined set of resources,=20
such as with a web interface, and in this case you are=20
not extending authentication, just using it is some=20
predefined ways.
