I have this file (FFastuno.ffx) on my "C" Partition and this file
takes up 1.3 GB. There are also other "FFast..." on my "C" drive as
well but none take that much space. What is this file for and could I
delete it??? I could use the extra room on my partition.
Thanks, Mike

That's one of Microsoft Office's famous FindFast files. If you simply delete
the file, it will make it again. If you want the space back to stay, you'll
need to take FindFast out of your startup folder, re-boot, then delete the
files that remain.
For what it's worth, if you XP's indexing service running on the drive,
FindFast will simply bog your machine down.
Hope this helps.

Office FindFast needs to be disabled. Useless function for most users.
