Backup on XP Home Edition

It appears I cannot backup to my CD-RW drive on XP. I
have loaded ntbackup from the XP CD, but it does not
support writing to a CD-RW drive. Since I have a 45GB
drive it is not feasible to backup to a more limited
media. Is there a way around this dilemma? Thanks.

which basically says that MS's backup doesn't handle CD-RW. which is kind
of lame.
