Freezing up of XP

The XP software on my computer freezes periodically. The
only way I have found to unfreeze my computer is to
switch off (not logoff or shut down) and to then re-boot

Has anyone else had a similiar experience

Be sure that the case is being given adequate ventilation - top, sides and
back - and that the fans are working normally.

You might also investigate a new video driver, from the chip or card
manufacturer's WEBsite. If results are poor, ROLL BACK to the former
drivers. If you are unfamiliar with this process, it's best left to
someone who is.
