I have 3 Dell 2350 Dimensions all with the same problem, all will XP
Professional. All three have network cards, can see each other and have
internet access via a Netopia DSL Router.
The problem is that I have to establish a connection to VPN Server over the
internet and the wizard is 'greyed out'. I go to view Network Connections,
Create a new connection and then start the New Connection Wizard. I choose
next and get the standard
Connect to the Internet
Connect to the network at my workplace
Setup a home or small office network &
Set up an advanced connection
When I choose Connect to the network at my workplace, however, the two
choices:
Dial-up connection &
Virtual Private Connection
appear greyed out and I'm stuck here.
I've tried changing NICs but to no avail. All other network/Internet access
appears to work fine.
Any ideas?
