Hello!

When a user is not logged into XP Pro as an Administrator, Live Update fails
to run because of security restrictions in XP, according to Symantec. OK,
how do we work around it? Can a task be scheduled to run the cegetter.bat to
download via ftp if not logged in as an administrator? In other words, if I
log in as the Administrator, set up a scheduled task to run at 1:00PM, then
log out and some other regular (non-admin) user is logged in at 1:00PM, will
my admin task run?

Thank you for helping!

Probably not. I sounds like Symantec needs to modify their software to run
as an admin Service rather than as the current logged on user. (or at least
the patch install portion of their service)
