Critical Update 811493

When I install critical update 811493, the computer slows
down considerably. After removing the update, everything
seems fine again - any ideas why this happens?

Hi

This is a known issue, and MS is looking into the problem. It looks like this
update introduces some conflict with the real-time file protection for several
anti-virus products.
