I am unable to access certain files and folders from an
administrator logon. Access is denied. I am unable to
take control of these using the method suggested in the
knowledge base as there is no "security" tab when right
clicking on the file / folder.
System is XP Home Edition, three users only (one Owner
plus two named users)and all have adminstrator rights.

Can the other two named users access these files?

Hi Martyn,
You need to logon in Safe mode, not normal mode, to access the security
settings in a WinXP Home system. Restart the system, depress and hold the
<ctrl> key immediately aftert he POST and before WinXP begins to load to
invoke the boot menu where you can select Safe mode.
