I've managed to tweak my services in Computer Management,
setting many services to manual (instead of automatic) in
an effort to converve resources. (Per an article in
PCMag.)
However, now when I click for the updates on the balloon
that appears out of the system tray, nothing happens. I
can get information about the critical update, but the
download never starts. This worked fine before
I 'tweaked' my services. I'm forced to use the website
to update. (Not a biggie, but not ideal.)
Does anyone know the services that need to be started for
Windows Update to run?
