Running XP Pro, often get "___ is not a valid Win32
application" This happens when clicking on the Help and
Support button in the start menu, when double clicking a
file that windows media player should run and double
clicking on the control panel.
Come on these are integral parts of the OS, what gives
here?

This is not normal behavior. Try running sfc /scannow in the run dialog to
see if any of your system files have been damaged.
