Hi,
I'm running win xp pro, and have all security and
criticle updates installed. I've downloaded this update,
and it decreases performance for my Athlon Xp 1800 based
pc by probably 30-50%, with all programs, the response
time is very bad. I've recently formatted my hard drive
due to a number of strange things happening with
different programs, i have the most recent anti-virus
updates installed as well. anyhow, when i use system
restore to roll back to the point before i install that
update, my machine run's like it should.
Is there any reason for this patch to make my pc so slow,
or is there any patch/way to get around this performance
issue?
