Hi

I would like to know if it is possible to copy local group
policy from one XP pro to another so i dont't have to
recreate it for every new pc that i install

And is it possible to use local group policy from XP pro
with a windows NT 4.0 Server??

I've had you dilemma recently and I installed the old NT system policy and
use NTconfig.pol for the XPs on our NT 4 domain. It is available from the
W2000 server CDs.

You will need some regedits to add other bits of security to get rid of
control panel etc. Tweak UI for XP will help too.

You can also configure one computer and then use sysprep (on XP CDs) to
clone to other computer. After you run a sysprep computer you need to put
in the Windows XP serial on each one and set it up fro the domain. It
quick and easy.
