Registerd Software name change...

I bought a used laptop and want to change the name that
the software is registered under... Is this possible...?

Thanks Juipter Jones...!!!
That worked well...
Now I just need to be able to delete the folder under
c:\settings and documents\ with the old owners name on
it... Then I'll be all set... It is giving me an error...
It tells me it's a system folder and cannot be renamed,
deleted or moved... Windows needs it to run properly...
Any ideas on this one last hurdle...?
This is WinXP Home by-the-way...

Go to User Accounts in Control (as an Administrator) and delete that
user.
If the user is already gone, try to Take Ownership of file and then
delete it:
