I have WindowsXP Pro, and recently Norton Antivirus 2002 detected a =
"Backdoor SDBOT" virus for both system32.exe and sysconf32.exe and was =
unable to repair either of them. Because I am assuming these two files =
are vital for the operating of the computer, I cannot simply quarantine =
them. What should I do to fix this problem? Thanks a lot.

Greetings --

Neither file is a valid Windows file. They _are_ the virus.
Delete them.
