voice recorder

i recently clean reinstalled XP on my machine and now find that that whereas
before i had an application called AVRack which did voice recording and
playback of tracks i now have no way of voice recording. should there be
anything on the XP CDrom and if so how do i get at it?

Have you got an Avance Logic sound card? If so, AVRack seems to be part =
of that cards' software - have a look on the CD that came with the sound =
card.
