I have windows xp with the security policy installed.
Unfortunatley i have had a lockout, courtesy of some
persistant family members !!.
When i boot into WindowsXP the login screen appears with
the logo, but the area were the accounts appear is blank.
Is there anything i can do to recover these accounts, or
even hack them to change the pass words or maybe even a
default login for windows, if one exists.
Please help.

At the Welcome Screen hit <ALT><CTL><DEL> keys together twice - in the first
box put "Administrator" and the second box put in the "Administrator
password" given during setup or leave it blank if none was supplied. From
there you can reset the other account accordingly.

Thanks for your reply, but no joy. Im afraid there was no
password supplied but leaving it blank will not work
either.
Is there anyother way?
