I'm assuming you mean system restore.
Go into Help and Support from the Start Menu
Search "system restore" without the quotes.
All the info is there.
Otherwise back up any important data files you have.
I am assuming you went to the Microsoft site and
downloaded the patch and didn't receive it via email which
is a virus.
