Hi,
My division have taken delivery of 200 desktops from corp
headquarters. They are all running XP. They are locked
down, for example users cannot access the registry.
However we are having an issue with the desktops in that
XP refuses to remember folder settings. e.g. set folders
by default to detail view. Instead, XP defaults to large
icon view for everything. When we change it to detail view
it goes back to icon view on next logon. Our users work
with large numbers of files with long names and are
getting extremily frustrated. Is their any way to make XP
default to detail view without changing security settings?
Regards
Sean
