I'm having the same problem. I'm running XP
Proffesional, on my home computer. While I'm not
certain, I'm pretty sure it's because the folders are set
to "read-only" status, in the properties menu.
The thing is, for me though, I've gone through the
security settings, made sure that all the ownerships of
the folders were assigned to my profile, and made sure
that I had all the permissions to my folders. Yet when I
go in and clear the "read-only" box, hit OK, and
propagate the settings throughout the subfolders, it acts
like it's changing. But when I reopen the properties
menu, it's again set to "read-only."
How do I, and possibly Mr Daignan if his is the same
situation, change this?
