XP Pro Workstation Name

Is it possible to name a workstation, a strictly numerical designation?
Every time I attempt to do this, of course it tells me that it can't be
done.



Any insight would be extremely welcomed.

It seems that you already have your answer. No, WinXP
workstations cannot be given entirely numerical "names."
