hey there,
it seems I have come across quite a problem after setting
my "Deny Local Logon" to 'Everyone' I didnt realise that
it included Administrators (silly me!) so I now cant log
on to my pc.
I can, however, Access it across the network from another
pc (also running XP Pro), but I cant Authenticate to it
(which means I can Read, but not Write, except in various
places which I have set to Read/Write. I cant Access the
\WINDOWS directory.)
I can also get into the files with a boot disk, with
Read/Write access through DOS, no GUI or anything but it
can rename, delete, copy, etc.
So would there be any way, using the resources that I
have, to manually change the Deny Local Logon setting in
the Local Security Settings > Local Policies > Security
Options, without using the GUI? I figure the properties
must be stored somewhere, just need to find where.
Any help is muchly Appreciated, Thanks
Seb :)
