How do I enter a new product key, if The one I have is

What do you mean the product key is invalid? What are you trying to do?
Are you installing windows? ARe you activating it? Your product key is your
license to install windows xp on a computer? You only get a product key
when you buy windows xp. And with that product key you can only install on
one computer. IF you have lost your product key you can call microsoft and
pay $10 and they will give you another product key (1-800-936-5700). If you
are trying to install winxp on a second computer then that is why you are
getting an invalid product key,in that case you need to purchase a new
license for the second computer in order to activate it.

The second PC won't know it has beed previously installed, untill you
attempt to activate it.
