Hi,

I had a similar problem, in taking my notebook (on Domain XYZ) home to
my LAN (Workgroup Name XYZ also). Messed up badly when taken back to
office LAN, locking out IT guy who had Admin rights, who could not log
on to Domain any more.

Can you elaborate on what all happens when Domain Name = Workgroup
Name and how then to fix it? Something called "Unjoin" the workgroup
was mentioned? Huh?

Would using another WG name with same profile solve this in future?

Want to transfer files back and forth between home and office.

(Formerly had Netswitcher with separate profiles when notebook was Win
98 SE, and never had a conflict.)

Any details would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Davie...
