I'm am trying to implement security settings in
accordance with a DISA STIG to my local security settings
and to a baseline security template. I cannot get XP to
display a group that I created called Auditors, or any
other newly created group, within the "Select users or
groups" popup window when you're editing the security
settings of a policy. The only groups displayed are the
default groups. However, they do diplay in the Computer
Management (local) console. HELP!!!

OK, fill in the information here.
You are in a stand-alone XP Pro=20
(?)
and are using a custom MMC to which you have=20
added the Security Templates snap-in=20
(?)
and in there, when trying to define the security=20
on a node in the template=20
(which section ?)
you do not see local custom groups.
(and you did start the mmc console after the groups=20
were defined ?)

Is that right ?

BTW, what is a DISA STIG=20
