Help access old Documents

I installed some video drivers that din't let me into
WinXP, so i made a temporary install of xp in another
partition to access all my files and burn them to cd's so
that i could reinstall xp and keep my stuff. The problem i
have now is that i can't access my old "C:\Documents and
Settings\Profile" to get some files i had in my desktop
and to save my favorites folder. Any one know how i could
do that?

You need to take ownership of the files. Look in Help & Support for
"take ownership".
