View Full Version : Allowing Users Access to Non-Microsoft Programs

I've set up my childrens' PC with me as Administrator and
them as Users under XP Professional.

They cannot see or use non-Microsoft programs, such as
games.

As far as I can tell, Simple File Sharing does not allow
programs to be accessed. Dragging the games folders
to "Shared" will not, I believe, do the trick.

How can I let non-Administrators use (non-Micorsoft)
programs that I designate?

Thanks,
RJH

Have you tried copying shortcuts of the games to their desktops?

To do this, copy the short cuts here:

d:\documents and settings\username\desktop
