My OEM vers of XP Home does not have Back Up on file.

My PC was not supplied with an XP prog. disc.

Where can I get Back UP

Does its use affect System Restore

John;
NTBACKUP has no effect on system Restore what so ever.

If your computer manufacturer determined you do not need NTBACKUP, you
are not licensed for it.
You can not download it.

If you want a back-up application, you will need to get a 3rd party
application.

Well thats great isn't it. I would have thought that
Microsoft would have wanted to address this issue - back
up was supplied with OEM Win 98 so to my way of thinking
this is a retrograde step - any support outthere?

John;
You are not alone.
You could contact your OEM and voice your opinion with others.

Also contact Microsoft:
