Stuck in MS-DOS mode HELP

Hi,

I'm running windows98 operating system and I'm stuck in
MS_DOS mode, at the prompt I type exit and it goes out
display the windows 98 logo, but returns to ms-DOS mode,
please help thanks.

Harry;
Go to DOS
Type "ren autoexec.bat autoexec.old" ENTER
Type "ren config.sys config.old" ENTER
Then you should be able to reboot normally.

In the future try a Windows 98 newsgroup instead of Windows XP.
